AUSTIN, TX – Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), and Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) are pleased to welcome Ranada Williams as Director of Finance. Williams will oversee the financial strategic planning, accounting operations, procurement, and financial compliance of the agency.  She recently transferred from the Texas Military Department, where she had been an employee since 2008, and most recently served as their Chief Financial Officer from 2017-2020.

Ranada is an Army Veteran and proudly served this country from 1999-2005.  She is the recipient of the Texas Outstanding Service Medal and the Department of the Army Meritorious Public Service Medal.  She is a member of Association of Government Accountants (AGA), Executive Women in Texas Government (EWTG), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), and Texas State Agency Business Administrators’ Association (TSABAA). 

Ranada graduated from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia, with a BBA in Accounting as well as an MBA in Leadership.  She is a graduate of the Texas Fiscal Officer’s Academy (TFOA), Governor’s Senior Management Development Program, and the Governor’s Executive Development Program. 

TREC and TALCB work to protect the public through the agency’s licensing, education, and complaint investigation services, as well as regulation and enforcement of state laws and requirements that govern each of these areas of service.
