Comment on Proposed Contract Form Changes

The Broker-Lawyer Committee (BLC) recommended several changes to the TREC contract forms. Most of these changes are the culmination of two years’ worth of work on the part of the committee, with other changes recommended in response to industry practice changes around broker compensation affecting many license holders. Sunset Advisory Commission Invites Public Input on the Texas Real Estate Commission

The Sunset Advisory Commission is conducting a special-purpose review of the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). By law, the scope of the review is strictly limited to reviewing the legally required disclosures made by a seller of real property and the associated disclosure forms developed by TREC.
