A planned power outage from Friday, December 20 at 6 p.m. CT through Monday, December 23 at the TREC building headquarters will affect the services available to license holders online and by phone. 

What This Means for License Holders

The Online Licensing Services Portal, the education Posting System, telephone lines, and walk-in services will be unavailable through December 23.

  • TREC staff will only have access to email (no phones) and some limited documents on December 23. 
  • Plan to do your online business by December 20 or after December 23. Online services will be available again on December 24.

The agency is closed in observance of the holidays from Tuesday, December 24 through Thursday, December 26. Plan to have limited assistance from staff until normal work hours resume December 27.

What Education Providers Should Know

  • Notify your students about these dates.
  • Encourage students to complete their education and renew their license early. 
  • Send email notices to students registered for courses and post this information on your website or course registration page.
