If you were not tuned in to the February Commission meeting you missed a very important announcement. 

Effective March 1, the Education & Licensing Services Division has separated into two divisions:  Jennifer Wheeler is the Director of Education & Examination Services (EES), and Denise Sample is the Director of Licensing & Registration Services (LRS).  Separating these two areas so they stand alone allows each to focus on their respective goals for the agency.  The operation of these two divisions are different in many respects; however, each involves rule-making and implementation of changes to requirements, processes or procedures.  Both Jennifer and Denise bring talent and skills that will advance service to our customers.      

We’ve long planned to address education compliance more effectively.  Gwen Jackson’s role has shifted and she is now the Education Compliance Specialist and will be working closely with education providers to improve compliance and course delivery effectiveness.
